Hua Wei Chan is a chartered professional accountant based in Canada. A fourth-generation Chinese born in Malaysia, Hua Wei has been fond of numbers since he was little. Although his mother did not know the best way for him to learn numbers, when he was 3 he memorized multiplication tables up to 12x12 after coming across the tables on the cover of a book.
Hua Wei is a 3x competitor at MCWC, including in 2012, when he finished 2nd overall, 3rd in addition, and 2nd in multiplication. He also competed at Memoriad.
Hua Wei was trained in traditional abacus approaches and is one of the few past competitors at Western events who performs multiplication from left to right.

Daniel is the author of World Mental Calculation — a website about advanced and competitive mental calculation. He has been involved in the mental calculation community since competing in the MCWC in 2012. More recently, he has been involved with the organization of various competitions internationally and online, including the Junior Mental Calculation World Championship and the Mind Sport Olympiad Mental Calculation World Championship.
Daniel believes that everyone can improve their calculation ability, and he has created methods to help beginners as well as experts, combining mathematics, psychology and computer science. Based in the UK, where he studied mathematics at Cambridge and worked as a software developer, Daniel enjoys travelling and, on his journeys, he has learned Spanish and Portuguese, and even worked as a trekking guide. When home in England, he plays classical piano.

Domenico Mancuso is a philosopher and math teacher in Turin who competed at the 2022 and 2024 MCWC and has won the Italian national championship on four occasions. Additionally, he competes in mathematical games and has twice represented Italy at the Championnats Internationaux de Jeux Mathématiques. Domenico is currently working on a graduate degree in history to add to his experience with Latin paleography.

Rahul Robin is an Indian mental calculator from the state of Jharkhand. Always displaying a high quantitative ability, Robin began his mental calculation journey in his 20s, excelling at various blitz arithmetic games online. He competed in Season 1 of Calculation League --- without significant prior experience in global calculation competitions --- and immediately demonstrated excellent visualization ability. Throughout the course of Season 1, he began developing his approach to more complex calculation questions, quickly improving along the way, and ultimately making the semi-finals and taking 4th place. Robin holds a degree in civil engineering from NIT Jamshedpur.

Freddis Reyes is an experienced Cuban mental calculator living in Germany. He is a 7x competitor at the MCWC and has 6 top-13 overall finishes. Freddis is a two-time medalist in multiplication, and won the event in 2012 at both the Mental Calculation World Cup and Memoriad.

Stephanie is a Chinese-American student at Harvard University, currently completing a graduate degree in biomedical informatics. In 2016, Stephanie competed at Memoriad, taking silver in division.
From California, Stephanie was a member of the Chinese American Abacus Association, a three-time grand champion at the World City Cup, a three-time gold medalist at the World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic competition, and a grand champion at the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce-International competition.
